Lucknow. Two farmers’ huts caught fire on Tuesday night in Shukalwa village in the Nagaram area for unknown reasons. In the grip of fire, the cattle of the farmers were scorched and the domestic salmon was set ablaze.
Nagaram, in-charge of the police station said that Darshan and Durga Prasad, a resident of Shukalwa village, are farmers. In the village itself, he lives in a hut along with his family. A fire broke out in farmers’ huts on Tuesday night at around 10 pm for unknown reasons. The fire took a different form in a few moments. Seeing the flames, there was chaos in the village.
The regional people tried to extinguish the fire. The villagers managed to control the fire after much effort, but by then the fire had burnt the belongings of the farmers’ household. Due to the fire, Darshan’s buffalo and bird were scorched and injured.
SDM Mohanlalganj Vikas Singh says that by sending the accountant on the spot, after assessing the loss of farmers, immediate assistance will be provided to the victim’s family.
