Vegetable Polenta
Many people do not like to eat green vegetables, but you can easily make khichdi with millet using lots of vegetables.
- 1 cup millet
- Half cup chopped carrots
- Half cup beans
- Half a cup of peas
- Half a cup of green moong dal
- 1 chopped onion
- Half a teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
Make like this Vegetable Polenta
Wash the moong dal and keep it for soaking for half an hour. Wash the millet and soak it in water for an hour. Take a pressure cooker and add a tablespoon of oil to it. Then add tablespoon cumin seeds. Add chopped onions and cook on low heat. When the onion is light brown add carrots to it. Now add chopped beans and peas. Mix well After cooking lightly, add its water along with moong dal. Now put the millet in the pressure cooker along with its water. Add a little more water to it and boil it. Now add salt, red chili, and turmeric powder as per taste. Add a little more water to the khichdi-like consistency. Now cover the pressure cooker cover. Allow three to four seats in the pressure cooker. Let cool for 10 minutes. Serve hot Khichdi with curd.
Of lentils Polenta
- 1 cup moong dal
- Half a teaspoon of ghee
- One fourth teaspoon cumin seeds
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 1 cup Chana Dal
- 2 tablespoons sprouted beans
- 2 tablespoons soaked and filtered rice
- 1 finely chopped onion
- Half a teaspoon of garlic paste
- Salt to taste
How to make dal khichdi
First, heat the ghee in the pressure cooker and add cumin seeds. When the cumin starts crackling, add asafetida and garlic paste and fry it on a medium flame for 2-3 seconds. Now add onion and fry it for 2-3 minutes. Then add rice, sprouted lentils, and soybeans and fry them on a medium flame for 30 seconds. Now put some water and salt in it and close the lid and let 3 cities come. After this, turn off the gas. Now open the lid of the cooker and then garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves.
Brown rice key Polenta
If you are using brown rice to make khichdi healthy then you can make it this way.
- Half a cup of brown rice
- Half cup moong dal and moth lentils
- A small spoon of turmeric
- Teaspoon cumin seeds
- Teaspoon desi ghee
- Teaspoon lemon juice
- Green and red chili
- Garlic, ginger, and onion finely chopped
- A teaspoon asafoetida
- 2 finely chopped tomatoes
Such Make Polenta with brown rice
First, wash the lentils and rice thoroughly and soak them in lukewarm water for 20 minutes. Now put ghee in the cooker, add asafetida, cumin onion, garlic, and ginger and fry it on low heat. After this, add chilies and tomatoes and fry it for a few minutes. Now add soaked brown rice and pulses and add two whistles to the cooker after adding water. Then remove the steam from the cooker and serve it hot.
